What operations you are interested in? Is there any service operation that you can't perform on some high firmware version? Please show the logs.

Follow this manual:
Repair the "Chip Damaged" issue for Kirin 820 / 985 / 990 / 990 5G devices

For older versions of Kirin 820 / 985 devices (fw: 10.x.x), you can fix "CHIP IS DAMAGED" issue using the following methods:
  • downgrade the firmware version
or
  • flash the higher firmware version and perform the Repair "Chip is damaged" service operation
