Current case was transferred to developers team, an Error appears due to new firmware version. New firmware versions will be added and your issue will be resolved in the upcoming update.

Issues you're dealing with appears because not all steps of the manual was performed correct!
Please run unlock operation exactly as it is signed in the unlock manual:

Quote:

Direct unlock for ZTE hotspot mobile devices
You need to choose the model manually from the "Phone model" list. The list is located near the ports selection menu

Select "Qualcomm" platform from the tab menu in the upper left side of the software
Go to "Unlock" tab
Select device model from the "Phone model" list
Connect the device to PC with USB cable
Power the device ON
It can take from 30 seconds up to a minute for a device to fully start up
Install required USB driver (only if the device is connected for the first time). Drivers should be installed automatically from the device; make sure that AutoRun feature is enabled on your PC
Select "ZTE Diagnostic interface" in the ports selection tab
Press "Direct Unlock" button
The message "Unlocking phone... Done" indicates that procedure was completed successfully
Wait for the message "Restarting phone... Done" to appear in Sigma dialog window; only after that you can disconnect the phone

Just tried it again using the latest update.

I believe we have errors working on MF30. The video posted is an AC30 model.

Tried it both on Diagnostics Device and UI AT Interface ports.

Download and install latest Sigma Software v1.29.01
Run Unlock operation
post results along with the log file here
