Problem with installing Fire Dongle [ SOLVED ] - GSM-Forum

Hi, I reinstalled my computer, and now I have problem with new version of program v2.4

I have windows XP SP3, clean install no other programs on it or boxes.

1. first I installed v2.4
2. in program files/firedongle/driver/ there is a PKey-driver XP for windows xp, I installed that driver, and restarted computer.
3. After restart I started program, "Security Key file Not exist!" I clicked on get key file, that went well, and after that when start programm I get message "Ready..
Your Dongle Firmware is Not up to date, plz update your dongle Firmware to Ver : 0101"
4. I try to do update and I get " Searhing Dongle..Not Found!!!"

Security Key file Not exist!
Connecting to server... OK!!!
Asking server for access...OK.
Asking server for Key File...OK.
Searhing Dongle..Not Found!!!

So first security key was generated, and later no dongle??

Please help me what should I do ?

Thank you, it looks like its working now

Solution was this:

I uninstalled application, and deleted all under FireDongle folder (security keys etc.) and in device manager uninstall all under Smart card readers. Then went to Scan for hardware changes. Then I installed application again.

And then, started Alcatel module and FIRST clicked on update firmware and that went well. Then Get security key, and it looks like all working now

There is one more problem: sometimes some application modules just crash. I start some module, program starts and after some short time just crash, like I closed it.

Any idea what might that be ?

Can someone please help me? i bought fire dongle, install it, install drivers and says not activated. when i try to activate it says already activated.. Confused!

fire dongle supporters please try to solve this type problem ; dongle not activated. when i try to activate its seem already activated.. and some time server going to sleep... whenever try to activate fire dongle ... thanks for understanding

we don't have any problem friend !!
we are close the server for the new SN card,
to know something !!!
Now, you can give me your Card SN and Your Reseller to add your card SN to server.

dear friend im very sad coz i purchase this dongle i got no problm on installation but i didnt succeded to read blackberry codes since i started using almost 30 pcs igot server prblm aiso i cant open huawei alcatel iphonelockstatus when open prgrm just blink and disapper while i tried to scsn my pc formatting n try my frnds pc also download more setups to prove whza its virus still same prblm it was v2.4 ystrday i got new setup v2.5 i got same prblm what shall i do
