Red or Yellow reader . What is the difference? [ANSWERED] - GSM-Forum

Hi,
I've bought a Fire dongle and receive a red one. I tried to use it but imposible.
Soft says me to update and when i update i've wrong answer.
I look in the forum and see that there is an Yelow reader that only can update.
I look for install correct, but there is not video for red reader with xp.
Dont know what to do.
can you explain meif its better to buy a yellow reader, and if yes what i do with my red one?

At the moment and with the red Pkey reader can't Update the card
Just with Yellow Reader (Oficial reader Fire) Can do Updates.
Need Card Firmware to Upgrade a: FW: 0101 Not FW: 0100.
with Red pkey can just do job with Old Software.

So, what can i do with red reader? Where is the supported list and software available to use?
When i bougth fire dongle to GSMserver it had only one reader, and today also. it's not red or yellow but purple. It's this one a third reader.
