i just purcahse the newest xsim but can't get it work it say plug and play but sigh i need help please.. it will either say searching for all day or got into the activation screen i have been reset a couple time still no luck . please help is a sprint iphone 5 6.1.4

I can only get to carrier lab 13.0 after following all the steps. I am on IOS 6.0 and this is a Sprint iphone 5.

i can only get to carrier lab 13.0 on my jailbroken sprint iphone 5 on ios 6.0. Can someone help me getting to carrier lab 14?

Yes i did all that after it will searching and no service and i try my sister att card in i detect and i jump out to the activation screen :( Thanks for your reply :)

we need solution with no jailbreak i can do it with no jailbreak on ios 6.1.3 but not work on ios 7

This method is working for me. ios 7. 0. 4, iphone 5, sprint, x-sim

1. Do jailbreak

2. After jailbreak go to cydia and update it, you will get an message inside

3. Download iFile in Cydia (google will answer you how to and where find it for freehttp://forum.gsmhosting.com/ubb/smile.gif

4. Open iFile and go to :System -> Library -> Carrier Bundles -> Iphone

5. Here is a very loooong list of carriers, you need to delete this four packages:

310120,
310120_GID2-00,
Sprint_LTE_US. bundle,
Sprint_Virgin_US. bunde

all in the second part of the list.

6. Turn off the Iphone

7. Insert your sim without x-sim

8. Turn on Iphone, wait until you'll see Activation required notice

9. Discard your sim and now reinsert it back with x-sim, if you insert rsim for the very first time you ll see x-sim activation menu, if not wait aprrox 10 secs and signal will be ok

10. Go to Settings\Cellular\ and turn on Data Roaming

11. Then from mobile browser go to website unlockit. co. nz (through Wi-Fi) and select your carrier to get APN Profile and install it.

12. Restart the phone and 3g and sms will be ok. But USSD still not working

Good job. This fix works well for me. Also does this work for the 5S? And what packages do we delete if the carrier is au KDDI in Japan which is also a CDMA phone?

Yes, im curious too if it works for iphone 5s from sprint.

Make sure that your X-SIM works on Sprint iphone 5 (insert sim card with X-SIM, enter 3101200, accept and restart phone. If, after a minute or two, phone displays 'Waiting for activation' that is OK. After 3-5 minutes phone should display 'Could not activate iPhone'.
Click 'Ignore' and if you see signal bar and network name X-SIM is setup well.
Wait for a little while to make sure that your phone has a solid signal.
If it fails after a several minutes, that means that your card is not supported (maybe some un-supported SIM Card).
Now you have working Sprint iPhone 5 but without SMS and 3G network functionality.
That is OK, because Sprint disables those functionality by default (even on unlocked phones).

Now, a complete procedure what to to:
1. To Jailbreak it you need to download evasi0n from evasi0n iOS 6.x Jailbreak - official website of the evad3rs and Jailbreak your iPhone
2. Open Cydia and wait to configure filesystem. Re-open Cydia.
3. Install SAM from repo.bingner.com in Cydia\sources (of course, you'll have to tap edit/add to add that source in cydia)
4. Open SAM and enable Hactivate option.
5. Download iFunbox (i-FunBox v2.1 | File Manager, Browser, Explorer, Transfer Tool for iPhone, iPad & iPod) and run it
6. Click on raw filesystem and open System, Library, CarrierBundles
6. Delete 3 folders: 310120, Sprint_LTE_(...something...) and Sprint_Virgin(...something...)
7. Now back to raw filesystem and open folder var, Wireless, Library. Search for any file that has extension .plist in that folder and ALL of the subfolders and delete it.
* Now you have iPhone that doesn't know from what network it came from
8. Restart iPhone
9. Insert plain SIM card without any interposter. As if it is a SIMfree iPhone. Activation screen will not popup because you have jailbreak and SAM
installed. Go to setting/carrier and enable manually search for network.
* If there is no Carrier option, just tick on Airplane mode On/Off and Carrier should appear.
10. When your iPhone displays networks available, Eject SIM card and put in X-SIM together with your SIM card. Make sure that in Setting/General/About it displays Carrier 14.0 (as if it is a SIMfree phone).
11. Open SAM, turn off Hactivate option, go to Utilities and tick Atemp Activation.
Phone should Respring and you'll have iPhone 5 with SMS and 3G functionality
* Off course turn on Data Roaming option in General/Cellular Data

Important note: DO NOT ACCEPT Carrier update from iPhone or iTunes, or you'll have again Sprint settings which disables SMS and 3G.

1a) All those having activation error in step 11 (during attempt activation)
1. Insert Sprint SIM
2. Copy ICCID and IMSI info. from more information in SAM under sim details.
3. Remove Sprint SIM, and insert you sim card with your X-SIM.
4. Now configure SAM manually(use ICCID and IMSI info you copied) and attempt activation.
* iPhone should be connected on wifi for attempt activation

Nopes... this method will not work on iPhone 5 Sprint 7.1, as there is no jailbreak for 7.1.

i have unlock iphone 5 sprint 8.3.. incoming and outgoing calls are ok.. incoming sms are ok.. but outgoing sms are not.. no outgoing sms.. any patch for this to work? as of now no jailbreak is available..

XSIM for Iphone 4S

I have Iphone 4s locked on At&t. And i have xsim (before worked on Mobile Operator in another contry) but i dont know which number is mine XSIM.
How can i find out which number it is? (There is very small numbers on the XSIM - F981 BW6L 214+)
I have sim card on O2 in Germany? is it possible that you can tell me how can i unlock my iphone?
