With this program it's possible to take an screenshot from Siemens mobiles. 


Supported mobiles:
------------------

tested:
ME45i v4 --> works
S55      --> works
M55      --> works, but wrong color palette

should work with:
C45, S45, ME45, M50, MT50, C55, SL55, C60, ...

will not work with:
x35, SL42, SL45 and all non Siemens devices like
C30, S40, ST55, ST60


BFB Mode:
---------

You will need an little patch to work with the BFB
mode. It's very easy to write this patch. Have a
look at 'bfb patch.txt' to see if an patch is 
available for your phone and how to write one.
Please make shure not only patch the BFB mode, but 
also the CRC's. If you have not patched the CRC's
some phones will show 'wrong software'.


Baudrate:
---------

Most mobiles needs 57600 Baud to getting into BFB
mode. SL45 and x35 needs 19200 Baud but I had no
time to test it out. So no support for this mobiles
sorry. They are out - dated.


Color Palette:
--------------

For 4096 color displays there is an wrong palette
till now. If you like to make an right palette
please send me an mail ([email protected])
I will not make one in next future.


Some more:
----------

- in BFB mode it's not possible to copy screen before
  doing screenshot. If you want to make an faster 
  screenshot and an screenshot from unstable or  
  animated screen you have to use the AT+CGSN Debugger.

- phone have to be on during all operations

- If you want to change COM Port parity, stopbit or databit, add an
  INI entry named:
  AdvancedMode=1
  in section "COM Port".

problem solved in icq:

change the ini File:

[Display Typ]
22 = 4096

should be

[Display Typ]
22 = 256

for your phone. Your phone has an 4096 Colors display.

You can save picture by clicking right on picture and press "Save as..."

Acidmrp, thx for a soft. But for me with С55 does not work. I'm generate and install patch with "fbytes":

How to solve this problem?
Type of the phone and SW version in the program is visible.

Thx for answer. With ME45 - program work but with C55 - not work. I want to use program Screenshot for С55. HERE (file logs_ME45i_&_C55.rar ) - log COM-port after start of the program. It will help to understand a situation?

you have to use AT+CGSN Debugger for making C55 screenshot. The C55 do not
answer to openBFB mode even with openBFB Port. I think there is some more
protection or other protocol.

So just make an C55 Playfield entry for AT+CGSN Debugger and use this Screenshot
function.

Hello all, this is my first message in this forum.
I´ve been having the same problem Vlog had. I got the Siemens Screenshot program and tried it with my c56 v29 with no positive result.
I see this is a bit too late to ask for this, but i haven´t found any at-cgsn patch for this firmware. Is Acid still overthere to help? plz...
