Help getting PPP, HDR PASS and HA and AAA to stick

I have had CDMA for a long while and been flashing phones a long time also.

I need some help with getting the HA, AAA Pass and PPP, HDR Pass to stick.

Ex.

I use a donor to get keys for a phone I am flashing, but when I use those pass to write to the target phone and then reset device and read they are gone. I know they must be gone because I am not getting 3G or Auth. Pass when doing so.....

Am I doing something wrong or is it that CDMA just will not write these and they stick?

Any help would be appreciated.......

You've got to be more specific, (at least in my experience) a lot of these phones are beginning to require slightly different methods to flash them and gain EvDo authorization..so you'll have to say which model is the donor and which model is the target.

As far as with the HDR pass, I have noticed myself that most of the time, no matter how many times I try, it will not write it to the device.

I am using a Verizon Fascinate as a donor and a Sprint Galaxy S3 is my target.

With the S3, (In my opinion anyways) the simplest way to gain EvDo is to first manually program profile1 into the s3..get 1x. Then pull NV items 465,466,1192, and 1194 out of the donor and write them to the s3...I usually have to write them each twice in a row to get them to stick. But I instantly get EvDo everytime I use this method. Also of course, make sure you have the correct PRL written (for which ever the target carrier is) first. Also, make sure Network mode is set to CDMA only. Hope that helps.

you dont need to load NV file for cdma s3 models. All you need to do to put the phone to OFFLINE-A mode after each time you write EVDO values. OFFLINE-A - write settings-OFFLINE-A - write settings-mode reset. Hit me in msn if that doesnt work. my msn is isia15 @ hotmail. com

you do this if you required to have AAA/HA keys such as Page Plus where Cricket and Metro dont need donor process. I guess its a good question to OP what carrier he is trying to flash to?
