Hello everyone

I have some questions about the combination file.

1:Apart from removing the frp,what can it do?
2:How some features not available in phone are available using combination file?
3:How the combination file is running older version of android. For example,on my SM-S357BL,when flashing combination file to remove frp, the combination file was running android 8.0,and my phone was already upgraded to android 9,and cannot be downgraded becauseof higher binary and stuff. So,is there a way to downgrade? And how is the combination file running android 8 when my binary is higher than this version is intended to have?

The binary version is not linked to the android version.
The phone can't write a lower binary version but lots of time with the same binary egsist 2 androids newer ones and older ones with the same binary mean can downgrade it without problems until binary is the same.
Combination firmwares are used to TEST phone hardware in Samsung Service centre and for this egsist.

Unfortunately,the binary that I have is only with android 9. So,how did it go back to android 8 with combination file? Can I use some of the files of the combination file to trick the phone and downgrade?

No, you can't trick the phone, if want to downgrade then only by ISP(easy jtag, medusa pro) possible by direct connection to memory chip in the phone.
