Many ways to solve your problem If you want to use combination procedure Which can be applied as a general solution Flash full combination which by the way should be the same binary as the phone ex: (a520fxxu2 ) then 2 is the binary level of which the combination should be No matter 6.0.1 or 7.0 After the phone boots up . Flash stock firmware of the same binary ofcourse but with z3x flash ignoring userdata, pit, hidden And using homeCSC file The phone will boot up know with no setup now go to setting and reset phone. You are done |
Hi, thanks for the kind reply i will try this also when i flash factory then flash firmware sometimes some files remain i.e sticks on sdamsung logo and also download mode has loads of yellow n green writeing like some of the combination files still in there. i have tried flashing the same way before but lock remains on thanks |
Concerning the writings in the download mode its a normal thing especially in new devices such as note8, s8, and s8+ so dont worry For the phone to boot up after flashing stock firmware coming up from combination will take some time 2 or 3 min. Try to choose close versions of combination and firmware to avoid being held on samsung logo Be carefull to not flash userdata, pit so that the phone will not be resetted So you are supposed to flash ( sboot, boot, system ,recovery , modem) This will be enough |
Hi, thanks for your reply.. ok so i have flash comb and then looked through the stock but there is no userdata in any of the folders. i have to delete hidden and flash just the cache of the home csc as it fails i dont know y. pretty new at this but im quick at learning |
4 files firmware will have userdata and pit If it fails at cache remove it |
you are a star ty so much |
