Member: 1309759 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Galaxy Note II - gyroscope and accelerometer /orientation sensors not working I've been facing this problem for a while now and can't find a solution. The gyroscope and accelerometer sensors suddenly stopped working. It was all good until something happened and i don't know what. Since than I tried almost everything to resolve this issue but nothing works except: turning off the screen rotation, going into download mode then pull the battery and restart the phone again, and that don't work always either, sometimes i have to do this 4-5 thimes. So to be clear, I tried flashing all of the roms, custom tw, aosp, cm... I tried woth the latest 3 official 4.4.2 roms flashed via odin, factory reset, clear and erase everything from recovery than flashing... And nothing helps. So what i want to hear is that this issue can be resolved, and it is not a hardware problem. Thanks. |

Member: 1309759 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Thanks for the reply. But the pit file is only used to repartition the memory, and mine partitions are ok. No issues with them. So are you sure that pit file will solve my problem or you're just making a suggestion? Sent from my Note II using Tapatalk |

Member: 194207 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.1602647 Thanks Meter: 167 | Possible fix Here is a solution to sensor problems, especially after flashing custom firmware to the GSN2 is this: Turn off auto rotate, power off, boot into Odin/download mode. Once there - pull battery and reboot. Turn auto rotate back on, should work fine. Otherwise may be a hardware or firmware issue...Hope this helps somebody. copy from xda thanks mony_valley |

Member: 1309759 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | I've just used a pit file with the latest 4.4.2 firmware. Everything went smoothly, and for now the sensors are working. I'm testing and we'll see. Thanks. Sent from my Note II using Tapatalk |
