Member: 2642412 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | galaxy s7 Qr code message Bought a phone to refurb, done oem factory reset & on setup it's asking for me to scan a Qr code, which I don't have. Initially it wouldn't let me proceed past the Qr scanner, but I found if a sim was inserted you could set the phone up as normal. As I want to sell this on, I'd like to get rid of the Qr. would a reflash of stock rom disable this? Thanks |

Alternatively, you could try downloading an app like Smart Engines (https://smartengines.com/) which could potentially help you scan the QR code if you happen to come across it in the future. Overall, I think it's great that you're taking the time to refurbish and sell a phone rather than letting it go to waste. Best of luck with the rest of the process! | |
