any body try to remove screen lock for s6 edge without lose data
with version 5.1.1 like OH8 or OFL
i tried with Bst but can't remove it
any box or dongle support this issue or other ways

write costm recovery and install aromafile manager in recovery mode then go to data/system remove lock setting ang password file

There is nothing to more explain bro as he said install the custom recovery then aromafile manager in recovery mode then go to data/system remove lock setting ang password file..that is it..

bro can t work not installed check on web this is serious locked by samsung no solution yet only by imei

i don't understand whats u mean only by imei ?

coz we need remove passcode without lose data not need unlock NCK code

brother do this steps
1-flash custom recovery with odin or any box (unchek auto restart )
2-turn of ther phon by pressing home+vol down+power key
3-go torecovery mode by vol up +home+power key
4-copy aroma file maneger .zip to sd card or usb fladh disk
5-insert sd card in to phone(frome the charger port)
6-in recovery mode install aromafile maneger(aroma file maneger autumatic open)
7-go to this locatin data/system/
8-delet all lock seting.db ,password.key,guster.key files
9-restart the phone (id the phone hang or auto restart)go to next step
10-whrite Unibase Kernel

Hello gsmhosting forums, I have a T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge 64GB (G925TZDETMB) w/ Android 5.1.1 firmware OF6 (lmy47x.g925tuvu2cof6).

Thank you for this very informative thread and to all the great people that make up the community here, I hope to learn enough to be able to contribute back.

Is there a simple way to remove the fingerprint / backup password screen lock without a factory reset / data wipe?

I would like to keep everything stock (or root and revert back to stock), and have read in the forums here it is possible to flash s6edge twrp custom recovery via odin and load aroma filemanager to delete the necessary system security files (so long as reactivation lock is not enabled).

The thing is I don't want to trip KNOX (and void my warranty).

I can get the backup password (it's my sisters phone) but I'm more curios to learn how to remove the screen lock password in case I don't have access to the backup password (I know there are various other methods through samsung and google via Internet to unlock etc.).

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I found this antilock tool (via google search below) but I don't trust it because it links to XDA and the poster only has 1 post.
