Samsung Galaxy S No Download Mode 3 Combination Disabled ( SOLUTION ) - GSM-Forum

Everyone now are having hard time to reflash/update their samsung galaxy s i9000 because cannot go to download mode. This video shows you on how to go to download mode even the 3 keys combination doesn't work. If you notice i modify a usb and a resistor. Any micro usb male and a resistor will work.

Here is my MODIFIED USB with Resistor

My modified USB with resistor works like a charm even your samsung galaxy 3 button key is disabled, just plug it on the USB socket of your phone and you're DONE

Why "Totally" different ?

it's rather totally same

Once this following setting is set on breakout box, it applys to download mode as your clip!

2) Anyway JIG connection
※ If phone cannot enter to download mode with H/W Key combination,
you can use the Anyway JIG (S100 or S101)
① Turn off phone② Change Anyway JIG option refer to below
- Solution Setting : 2 Infineon
- Function Setting : 2 and 6
- VBATT : ON

If you have charged battery, Power supply is not needed.

it's not the cable that switches the phone, it's the phone that is made to swtich with the cable

OK, Super!!!
BUT we not have this magic box and we waht know what PINS and what RESISTOR on connector.

Resistor value is 300Kohm
Is conected from pin 4(id) to pin 5(gnd).

2 cyprus : if after remove the battery, there is no download mode you need to repair boot!

Soon ORT will fix it
