if you look at the video it shows it had mdm or knox enrollment and then its removed. However, the phone was able to go in download mode. If it were not the case then you would need the TP [test point] method.

Or you could use AT command which talks directly to a modem and can put a phone in download mode

What is the Samsung AT Command to send phone to download mode? I am studying LG now and can definitely use Samsung's as well! Thanks

You can deactivate them with root. Once mdm is disabled. Test with a10.
