LG K8 2017 (M200n) & LG K10 2017 (M250n) Network Unlocking Product Advice - GSM-Forum

Hi everyone,

I have several handsets: LG K8 2017 (M200n) & LG K10 2017 (M250n). They are network-locked to Tesco Mobile (UK), who cannot successfully unlock them, and I'm currently stuck.

I'm hoping: can someone offer any advice on the most cost-effective unlocking product which can definitely unlock both models? If possible, a product with a perpetual (lifetime) license, so I can unlock others in future?

Well, I found a solution. Hopefully someone finds it useful.

The Octoplus LG Tool (6 Months Digital/Online Activation) supports both models mentioned, and a 6-month activation is only $50. Unlimited unlocking operations for that duration.

The M200N unlocked no problem, straight away.

The M250N didn't unlock straight away, and after contacting Octoplus support, I used LGUP to downgrade the firmware to Android 7, which then allowed the LG Tool to unlock the device.
