Lumia 532 asking PUK after entering UNLOCK code


i have a LUMIA 532 locked to operator and after entering the unlock code the phone starts asking for PUK code which is very unusual ..

any idea or solution for this

pls help/ advice

was the sim card in the phone during unlock? what was the status of the sim before you put it in? PUK is the sim card locked out

did you get this fixed i have exact same problem on two phones after enerting correct unlock code both were on vodaphone UK sim cards are fine in other phones

no , i had to opt for a direct unlock with a cable ...
