Member: 2562417 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I know that, I'm simply telling you they do not give out pins any more. Any dealer cluster work/swapping is completed online connected to VAG servers in Germany. Thank you for your help so far. |

Member: 2562417 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I'll give them a call on Monday to see if they give the pins out but from the Audi forums I'd have to bring the car to them and let them do the work as the workshops don't even "see" the pins themselves. Kinda defeats the purpose in my case, it's all about learning |

Member: 2562417 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | As I suspected, Audi cannot and will not give out the PIN or SKC as they put it. They haven't done for years. The car has to be connected to their system which does everything whilst never showing the code to the techs. |

Member: 2562417 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Update to this: With some help from Carprog giving me a beta of their software to try, the pin is 21579. I was able to read it via OBD using their hardware in a few seconds. Afterwards I logged in using VCDS and can confirm the pin as correct. Maybe some of you can use this working pin and my dump files to see where the pin is derived from. Thank you to those who tried to help, it's very much appreciated. |
