Odometer correction

i need some more information from people which have more knowledge about odometer correction (km fix/edit).

Dont write bull**** if you dont have enougt information.. just if you have some devices and you know about other devices/supports/new models etc...

i know there are diag consult/digi master/enigma tool.. they are to expensive start from 6000usd to 10.000usd for real orig. with full support.. but i think there are more which are cheaper or another solutions...like do it self by read eeprom/chip and calculate hex and rewrite etc...

waiting answer from car diagnose users..

Hi

You are discussing tools I see...

I'm changing a dash on my vectra c and need to correct the milage on the new used one. Anyone know if its possible just to plug in the new one to get it to work?
Any resetting etc?
No boards have had the same idnumber as mine do but does it matter?

Anyone know a tool that could hook up through the dash plug or do i need to program the 93c66 directly? Onboard or desoldered? A member has told me xprog-m should do the writing and reading but as I see it...it has no in-circuit option right??

Lot of questions from an eager member
