Info about my own car vw gol 1.6 trendline 2005 immo

Hello, it's my own car, I had problems with immo a few days ago, and I need to know info about it....

where is immo located? ecu? (I am decoder hehehehhe, but no idea about ecu & immo) ( I dont even know where my ecu is anyway)

what should I know about this??

pros and cons?

immo off is calculated via dump? or is there a "default" dump with immo off for this model?

all info is welcome, thanks

Hi my good friend.., I'm not familiar with the Golf Immo but normally there is two types of Immo, first is in the ECU and the second is an Immo Box.. the most common is an Immo box in the dash.
If your Immo is in the ECU then you'll need to read it either via OBDII or direct by removing the ECU and reading on the bench .. Flash or EEPROM from the unit.
If you can post the ECU details then we should be able to tell..
