Hi, does it display a 11 digit hard drive service tag number followed by 4 digit suffix? It can have some *'s , but not all.

There are no master passwords for Eee PCs. Resetting will get you past a bios password but hard drive passwords are a completely different ballgame. Look at this, it should help.
