I have a DELL N7010 sys disable # 11798 and Serv tag # DCRF9M1 I did the cmos batt thing etc...no luck... so it has to be eeprom etc. I have been searching for weeks and came across this forum! Member: 1855998 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 192 | Sorry to say this, but there is no way to generate a password for the hard drive on that system. It has a generic Phoenix bios and system disabled codes don't work on hard drives. Best to replace drive. |
