hi all / im not sure if im in the right place but here goes
can any one help me with the master code for my dell insperon mini 910 when I turn it on its asking for a hdd code but I've not put a code on it please help after three tries it comes up with hdd password error code 04831 and system service tag code 95jwvf1 hope someone can help me thanks.

For service tag 6Z7Z54J-2A7B the master bios password is:

n0pDuX2XJwt71iot 0=zero

Case sensitive. Enter password, hold down CTRL then press ENTER twice.
If doesn't work then somethings wrong with bios.

thanks for trying to help me but I have tried 70+ of the passwords and still haven't found one that works. will I need to buy a new dell hdd .

Yes it appears you need to replace hard drive.

E5500 has two possible bios versions(2a7b and 1f5a).

If it's 2A7B then master password is:

tfTpV3g1S40tji4i 0=zero

If it's 1F5A then::

just to be sure, when you say :

Enter password, hold down CTRL then press ENTER twice.

You mean
1 enter password
2 press CTRL and in same time press ENTER
