Thank you for the reply as I greatly appreciate the assistance but unfortunately the two eight digit codes didn't allow me access to the BIOS and it only accepts eight digits so the third isn't valid. Is there additional information I could provide to assist? Again, thank you for trying.

Hi, use the method listed under "Dell, Acer and others with generic Phoenix bios" to generate the passwords.

Thank you. That got me into the BIOS but unfortunately it isn't working for the HDD password.

Sorry to hear that, but it is not uncommon. Might be better to just replace HHD.

I dont know exactly the ending of your tag number, usualy must be xxxxxxx-xxxx
but some models dont have ending, based on your tag :

Service tag is 7 letters

Thank you for the attempt but the three passwords tried twice didn't work. Would you have gotten different passwords had it been the HDD code? I see you have the CMOS one in your post.
