no other passwords set... only admin password.

thanks!
Try one of these. But you will probably have to either call Dell support or pay for password at commercial site.

Most units only require pressing <enter> after password, some require pressing <ctrl>+<enter> after password and some require holding down <ctrl> while pressing <enter> once or twice. Good luck.

Sorry to tell you, but looks like your options are limited to either call Dell support or pay a commercial password site.

Sorry, but free support for that model is not available.
Looks like your options are limited to either calling Dell support or pay a commercial password site.
Here’s two possibilities:
Bios Password Rcovery | Bios Password Recovery
or Laptop bios unlock

Hi Nicole

Try this:

a0NaRsyV0bK0p53X

Most units only require pressing <enter> after password, some require pressing <ctrl>+<enter> after password and some require holding down <ctrl> while pressing <enter> once or twice. Good luck.

Please report back with results.

EDGSAM, THNX,
I'm in the Bios!
So now I can change the boot Sequency and install a second HD.
Wonderfull!

I'm probably asking to much now, but can the Admin Password be removed permanently?
The code you mentioned doesn't work when I want to change / remove the "old" admin password.
I tried, you never know...

Many thnx, Nicole
