Nothing happens, when i hold down <ctrl> and press <enter> twice.

When i press only <enter> behind the code , first a message was shown:

WAIT ...
CHECKING ...

Then

Invalid password
[Press ENTER to retry]

appears

The Bios of the D600 is A16 , but i can´t enter in before i put in the correct Hdd-password. Or no HDD is shown after entering 3 times the wrong or no password.

Sorry, but free support for that model is not available yet.
Looks like your options are limited to either contacting Dell support (They can help you) Here:
RouteTo
or pay a commercial password site.
Such as:
Bios Password Recovery -This site owner is kind enough to offer us a break. Use “Contact Us” form, mention gsmhosting and receive discount-
As always, be careful who you send money to.
No matter which direction you decide to go, Please report back with who you used and your thoughts on their service.

? Try again
Password:
4l1aimnc --small L between 4 and 1--
Instructions:
Passwords are for QWERTY keyboard only (standard US). Case sensitive. Some units only require pressing <enter> after password, some require pressing <ctrl>+<enter> after password and some require holding down <ctrl> while pressing <enter> once or twice.
Please report back with results. Good luck.

Try again, this time press <ctrl>+<enter> together. If doesn't work, probable because not original HHD.

Hi Edgsam,

Thanks for the effort but i still get incorrect password. I've tried enter, enter twice, ctrl+enter, ctrl+enter twice, nothing works.

Dunno what else to do.. Can't configure anything on BIOS without this password..

Thanks.
