When i press only <enter> behind the code , first a message was shown: WAIT ... CHECKING ... Then Invalid password [Press ENTER to retry] appears The Bios of the D600 is A16 , but i can´t enter in before i put in the correct Hdd-password. Looks like your options are limited to either contacting Dell support (They can help you) Here: RouteTo or pay a commercial password site. Such as: Bios Password Recovery -This site owner is kind enough to offer us a break. Use “Contact Us” form, mention gsmhosting and receive discount- As always, be careful who you send money to. No matter which direction you decide to go, Please report back with who you used and your thoughts on their service.

Password: 4l1aimnc --small L between 4 and 1-- Instructions: Passwords are for QWERTY keyboard only (standard US). Case sensitive. Some units only require pressing <enter> after password, some require pressing <ctrl>+<enter> after password and some require holding down <ctrl> while pressing <enter> once or twice. Please report back with results. Good luck.

Try again, this time press <ctrl>+<enter> together. If doesn't work, probable because not original HHD.
