Member: 1907661 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hi folks, great service you are providing here! I was recently given a Dell Latitude X300 laptop that is password-protected. Both F2 (set up) and HDD are asking for a password. The service tag on the back is DZ2PH1X and the bios is version A07. For now at least I would like to get in to set-up. Can anyone help with a password? Thanks! |

Sorry, but free support for that model is not available yet. Looks like your options are limited to either contacting Dell support (They can help you) Here: RouteTo or pay a commercial password site. Such as: Bios Password Recovery -This site owner is kind enough to offer us a break. This is discount code for gsmhosting users: D972026940 Code is valid till April 30th. Just enter this code before Paypal processing. As always, be careful who you send money to. No matter which direction you decide to go, Please report back with who you used and your thoughts on their service.

sp6fjm15 m6s9suin r4r60x0oaWNl2ygS --zero between x and o, small L between N and 2-- Instructions: Passwords are for QWERTY keyboard only (standard US). Case sensitive. Some units only require pressing <enter> after password, some require pressing <ctrl>+<enter> after password and some require holding down <ctrl> while pressing <enter> once or twice. Please report back with results. Good luck.

Hi edgsam, Thanks for the quick reply! I must have the same DOS based program that you do because I came up with those passwords earlier. :-) No luck with either of the first two. The input field only allows eight characters for the password. I also tried passwords generated from a lowercase service tag. No luck there either. Maybe something will come up…
