Has anyone been able to have a workable workflow to recover/reset the BIOS found on Elitbook 84xxp units yet?

I have a 8460p and attempted to reset the BIOS using PC CMOS Cleaner and it failed to clear the present Admin password.

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem with bios on hp 8440p
Bought it on ebay.with win xp instaled
I can install windows 7 or win xp but can not access bios
Need to reset the bios pass
Hope someone can help me

I have a Medion MD42200 laptop with password for the BIOS and HDD.

After 3 attempts BIOS password laptop show (12597).
Can anybody help me ?

At First Remove Power Jack
Then
Remove Battery For Three Minute

Then attach battery n Check it

If Problem Remain Same

Then Remove Backup Battery & Clear Bios Using Jumper
