Added possibility to select external Qualcomm USB loader! From now on you can select external Qualcomm USB loader ("*.mbn", "*.bin", "*.elf") to connect the device via USB. This feature will be useful, if built-in USB loaders are not compatible with your device, or necessary loader is not included in the Software.
To select external USB loader, do the following: select "USB" option in Software, select "Brand: Custom Settings", select "Device (Core): Custom Loader" and press УConnectФ button to select loader and connect the device. Don't forget to put the device into "Qualcomm...9008" mode before.

Improvements in "Content Extractor":

Added possibility of manual scanning (parsing) data from file or from connected via eMMC device. From now on you can select method that will be used for parsing folders and data - "Full Scan" or "Manual Scan". "Full Scan" will parse all folders and data and may take 0-1-2 hours. If you donТt need to scan (parse) all data and wait long time, you can use "Manual Scan" method, which allows you to select a folder to parse and scanning process takes only few seconds. Just press "Read from file..." or "Read from device" button and select method for data scanning (parsing).

Changes and improvements in Partition Manager

"Open File" button allows you to open full flash file, red from phone (img file), select required partitions and write them to the phone, or select any file instead of partition in table, which will be written accordingly to partitions table; also you can select a file which contains only partitions table and then select files corresponding to each partition in table. If memory IC is not connected - read/write operations are not available

"Connect" button from now on connects target device, but doesn't read partitions table. It will change its state to "Read from device", what allows you to perform partitions search, parsing and further operations in designated window, if memory IC is connected properly

While memory IC is connected, "Save partitions" reads data from memory, "Write partitions" writes present partitions accordingly from image or files opened

You have to reconnect target device after each write operation to see the changes. "Disconnect" button added for this purpose

"Hex editor" allows to change data directly in memory or file opened, accordingly to selected target

Some log changes were made.

To write/update eMMC firmware, please complete the following steps:
Select "eMMC" interface option

Select "Brand: eMMC_chips"

Select eMMC chip part number in "Model:" software list

Press "Help" button to view eMMC pinout and TP picture. Acknowledge the manual

Solder all necessary wires to connect eMMC (if necessary, solder TP wire to force eMMC into Boot Mode, Product name will be displayed as 000000)

Press "Connect" button to connect eMMC (if necessary, connect TP to GND)

When connection is successful, release (disconnect) TP wire from GND and go to "eMMC service" tab in the software

Press "Write/Update firmware" button, select proper eMMC chip from the list and press "Write/Update eMMC firmware" button

NOTE: PLEASE DON’T SELECT INCORRECT eMMC (WITH NON MATCHING PART NUMBER)! WRITING INCORRECT FIRMWARE WILL DAMAGE YOUR EMMC!

Box firmware has been updated! In 1.23 firmware version we have improved “eMMC Write/Update firmware” procedure. To update Box firmware automatically, it is necessary to connect the Box and only then run the software. Also, you can update Box firmware manually via “Update Box Firmware” button at “Welcome” tab in Octoplus JTAG PRO Software.

Don’t forget, that device should have non-damaged CID partition, otherwise it could cause problems with writing firmware after repairing. We recommend making backup of CID partition before repairing.
