Reset frp ls998 octopus killed phone!! [Solved] - GSM-Forum

I tried to reset frp on octopus ls998 and it killed my phone just black screen ? It says want to try it might damage phone ? I pressed ok.. Then it said sending bootloader failed and bricked the device!!! Wtf why would you have this dangerous option on here guys!!! Remove it before it kills other people phones! Is there anyway to fix this?

What device appear in Windows Device Manager, when You connect the phone to PC? Also, post here full Software log with all of performed operations, we will check.

its qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008 com 184

all i did was click frp reset and then it said failed when sending bootloader and its black screen now hopefully i can reflash it or something

restore the backup boot and phone is in original state

Nothing wrong with tool it does what it is suppose to also it gives u warning if u dont like it press CANCEL and it wont proceed.

ok i restored and it said success but still no good???

Please download and install the latest Software version 2.9.2, then do the next steps:

Reboot the phone, press and hold "Vol-"+ "Vol+" + "Power" buttons 15 seconds and then connect the device again.
1. Select LG LS998 in the list of Software.
2. Select this backup file "LS998_352457091097713_27-01-2019_13-38-14.oct" into the Firmware slot in Software.
3. Press "Reset FRP via TP (Qualcomm Mode)" button in Software and write backup file.
4. Post here the result.

why is it taking 3 hours to download a 250mb file? is the website down or has issues? i have 100mb line should download it in 1 min

ok it worked now with new software!! thanks! So how to remove frp? should i try again with new software? or will you send me special software?
