Smile LG K10 2017 (M250n) Unlock Failed [Solved]


Hi there,


Using Octoplus/Octoplus Box LG Software 3.1.0 (online activation), I tried to unlock a LG K10 2017 (M250n) without success. Is anyone able to advise please?

The log is attached.

You can try to select Q610FA then do Unlock operation.

To perform Unlock operation You need to have credits on your account.

OK, thanks for looking into this issue.

Concerning the selection of Q610FA, would I still require credits when I have already bought the 6-month digital license? I was told by the Octoplus team that this product was all I would need to unlock both the M200n and M250n products, and that it was capable of doing both.

I do appreciate that Q610FA setting could potentially unlock the phone, but that is an additional purchase, when I was told that Octoplus LG 6 Month Digital License was all I required.

Hi everyone, any updates? You said to wait until Monday but that has come and gone, and I'm still no further forward.


I do not wish to cause trouble. It is not my intention. However, there is a genuine, unresolved problem here, and I hope that you will try to see my point of view:


I bought Octoplus LG Tool because it could apparently unlock the M250N. The website image attached to this post clearly shows M250N being on the standard unlocking model list. The customer service advisers also confirmed this on live chat, before I made the purchase.


The software fails to unlock the handset in practice. The "solution" you proposed is for me to pay extra, by buying credits to unlock the device a different way. Well pardon me, but I don't feel that is a fair solution to this issue, taking advantage of a customer who has already paid.


All I wish for is the product I purchased, to do the job it claimed it could do, for the price I paid.


Would you be able to look at this issue one more time and help me?

Hello.

Please, downgrade your phone to Android 7.x firmware then try to repeat Unlock operation again and post here result. You can find firmware here

Note: downgrading of phone firmware can damage your device. You can try to do this only on your own risk.

Hi there,


I downgraded the firmware to Android 7 as instructed, and the Octoplus LG tool was indeed able to perform the unlocking operation. Many thanks for looking into this issue and providing a solution.
