Lg e739 [Solved]

I am trying to reset the pattern lock on this LG E739 phone ; however, it keeps telling me the process failed.

My work laptop has a fresh install of Win7 32-bit. I only have Medusa and Octoplus installed on this laptop. The phone is in working order. It powers up ad boots to the pattern lock screen. When I perform the 'Reset Lock Screen' I have the SIM and microSD card removed from the phone.
