I also have same problem..I have two octopus one is small one and other one is big one but the big one which I just received one week a go have problem that I can't connect with uart cable but same cable is working on small one I also bought the Umar cable from gsmsrver which is this one

And as I said these cable working with my other octopus box which is a smal one so it mean box interface have a problem but any way I will contacts with u tmrw by Skype or yahoo thanks
