LG LS980 unlocking problem very strange - GSM-Forum

Hi team i have lg LS980 root unlock done but phone still just showing searching
it showing insert sim - searching
i been reading on goodgle it means phone is not unlock or some network have problem i try to repair security still same
when i try to repair nvm dont work in download mode and dont work on adb mode what to do?

Hello.

You should connect the phone in Normal Mode and try to make Repair Network. Also, try to make Repair NVM and write QCN from the Support Area.

To connect the phone in Normal Mode, do the next: Type ##3424#, go to "Diag" menu and select "Enable". This menu can be blockedby SPC/MSL.

there is no QCn for this model on support i check on unlock repair folder i can not found any qcn file

ok i flash the phone and root the phone and unlock
still same but when i restart phone i can see network for few second then it show service disable
and then show emergency call
i already repair network repair nvm no luck

It's from USA sprint
I can see many people doing so why my phone don't work ?

Look in the folder "LG/QCN/LS980/". Try to write QCN, re-start the phone, insert SIM card, wait 5-7 minutes and try to find and select network manually.

no luck still the same when i search network i can see Vodafone network but when i select dont work.

We have uploaded new firmware into the Support Area. Try to write this firmware, then make "Repair Network", insert SIM card and check the network. If the problem is the same, we can't say You, where can be the problem with your device, we need to have it in our hands to research the problem.

i had same problem all i did was leave other provider sim and factory reset and it read sim and i also downgraded to oldest firmware zv7

Hi after flash with new firmware from support i root the phone and unlock
Now I can see network for just few second then it show no service? It's unlocked I can see also network for some time and then show no service do I need to do any setting ? I already choose gsm on network mode is there any other way I can change some setting ?
And when I try to do dig enable it asking for Service code what is the service code ?

I have a LG LS980 I unlocked it. but Access Point Name not stick in Netowork section. I need to network repair for APN Configuration. But, when I goto ##3424# it want Service Code (DIAG Desable).

how can I get Service Code?

This menu is blocked by SPC/MSL, which is provided by phone's network provider.
