HOW WORKS:

1)Select huawei update wizard exe from Select Firmware-Extract from EXE and wait that program find fimrware's file
1a)If you have already done step 1 , can load files from Select Firmware-Parse from HMF
2)Select firmware** related to your board*
4)Select Flash Modem-Normal Flash and wait
4a)If your modem it's half died (stay always on download mode) select Flash Modem-Resurrect Flash

*During flash program check compatibility between modem and firmware , if it fails it ask what you want do to...continue or stop flash.
**Flash always all files if you dont have any jtag

Program works only if pc is connected to internet
Program is release as is , without any kind of warranty

I am working on the same script/project (educational purposes) lem me call it Huawei modem flasher. I have been continuously working on this project for more than a year now, I have tried to use sniffer for serial communication with Huawei update wizard as much as possible. Just to learn the update progress. And came to find out that the firmware is all check sum’ed. ‘Im new to crc (check sum) I like to enjoy leaning in VB.net, but as this is a beginners project Please help me by contributing just part of the source code to improve my project.

how to read flash from modem

because if we not have flash file the how we can flash??

Hallo. How to read NVram of Huawei E353 modem?

Flashing the Huawei E353Ws-1
 

This flasher is unable to detect Huawei E353Ws-1 with the new (22) firmware.
With this firmware the modem shows up as a network device, not a serial one (no COM port).

Has anyone tested this software with any other models ?

Doesn't work for E392. Application interface port is present and functional, e.g. is able to comunicate with QPST and RevSkills. But no port is detected by fr3nsis's flasher.
Is it possible to fix?

Which is the name of huawei com ports?

E353Ws-1 with the new (22) firmware. Original firmware needed urjent.
