MediaTek Helio P22 MT6762 is supported for years already, not understand what need to add.
About LG, we not have any plans yet to make LG module.

If you look in mediatek module under "phone setting" you cannot see MT6762 only MT6761 & MT6763

MTK module mostly autodetect phone cpu, and not matter selection.
And MT6762 are supported already, posible i'am forget to add it in list.
Exception exists for alredy added phones in list, this phones can have different simlock scheme, or booting differ.
If phone is listed, better to select it from list.

But I don't see an "AUTO" selection in the list so how do I unlock K51 MT6762?

Make separate thread with this phone, try in exe to select bypass security and try to boot this phone.

After post exe repply in that thread.
