ZTE AXON M Z999 64bit - Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 MSM8996AB Pro android 7.1.2
no driver issues, lists COM1 without issue, using EDL mode rebooted with xxxxxxxxxx tool from FTM,

FRP locked, have xxxxxxxx toolbut no ability to have write access to wipe, not FRP removal tool has worked so far, can not read partitions to wipe.

Have tried the quicklaunch method and cannot add google account.

have tried home launcher method and DEV options will not turn on nor factory data wipe. Not able to root.

Any ideas on why its so locked down? or a way around?

even have the firmware as files and bootloader wont allow for sd install, adb sideload is unsuccessful as well.

Sounds like u are missing correct firehose programmer
