Hi,
there is a solution.
What boxes do you have? The point is that you need to downgrade without data loss by fastboot and flash board/eng recovery. And download exactly the same firmware version. Then you can read backup of all userdata partition. Then you can unlock bootloader and root (but thats not the point). You need to access your data partition by recovery and rename /data/system /data/system_ce and /data/system_de to anything else (mine are /data/systemXX /data/system_ceXX /data/system_deXX). Now you need to upgrade firmware to same version as you start the bypassing. If everythings ok, phone turns on without the password and asking for adb pairing (be warned - do not do anything else instead of adb pairing or you can damage other data).
After adb pairing, you need to restore system system_ce and system_de in userdata partition --> so make another downgrade to get rooted recovery and rename back the systems data in data partition. Make another firmware upgrade to same version and after phone starts, it should have ADB enabled and paired with locked screen. Then you can use any adb script to bruteforce 4-pin lock.
Please, this is not for non-experienced users. Every mistake could erase your data. I can advice you to make a backup by adb dd of all your internal memory mmcblk0 as soon as possible.
Hope it can help you
