Q: How to add and Remove an account in Android?
Ans: Main Menu -> Setting ->Account->Add Account-a/b
a) To add an Account: Add Credential to add account
b) To remove an Account: Select account that you need to remove->Option->Remove account

Q: How to Factory Reset an Android Phone?
Ans: Main Menu -> Setting ->System->Reset Factory Default Setting. From there, Select Erase
Phone Memory or Memory card for best result. Note: Reset Factory default will remove all user
data; do take a backup of your data in PC or on Gmail.

Q: In what scenario does the user have to factory reset his Android phone?
Ans: In the following scenarios user needs to reset his phone.
a) Phone not responding
b) Phone automatically Restarting
c) Erratic behavior of phone
d) Bad Battery backup or charging issues
e) Apps not working
f) Deleted any pre-installed apps by mistake
g) Erased customer data & settings
h) To remove an account.
Note: If the problem persists, please visit your nearest Service Center.

Q: How to connect devices via USB Tethering?
Ans: Please follow the following steps.
a) Plug in USB cable and connect it to your PC.
b) In the Main Menu of Phone-> Setting->More-> Tethering & Portable Hotspot-> Select USB
tethering. Let the PC install the drivers first and after that you will be connected to the Internet
automatically.

Q: How to connect devices via Portable Hotspot?
Ans: Please follow the following steps.
a) Plug in your USB cable and connect it to PC.
b) From Main Menu in Phone-> Settings->More-> Tethering & Portable Hotspot->Select Portable
Hotspot-> Set up Wi-Fi Hotspot

Q: How to connect your Device as a USB Mass Storage?
Ans: Please follow the following steps.
a) Plug in USB cable and connect it to PC.
b) Select USB Storage and Select Continue. Let all the drivers install first and then your Device
will be connected as a USB Mass Storage. Drivers can be downloaded from our web site here.

Q: How to add Data Account or APN Settings?
Ans: All Micromax Smartphones come with Pre-loaded Internet Settings. User needs to insert
SIM and turn the Data Connectivity On. The phone will automatically detect settings.

Q: How to do Data Account or APN Settings If user has edited or erased pre-installed data setting?
Ans: There are two ways to resolve it.
a) Do Reset Factory Default Setting.
b) Main Menu->setting->Wireless & Networks->Mobile Network settings->Access Point Names-> Add or Edit APN settings

Q: How to Select Data Mode (Auto or GSM or WCDMA)?
Ans: Main Menu->Setting-> Mobile Networks-> Network Mode->Select respective SIM -> Select Mode as per your need from GSM/WCDMA (Auto mode)/WCDMA only/GSM Only.

Q: How to switch off Reminder of Roaming while originating a call?
Ans: Main Menu->Settings->Wireless & Networks-> Dual SIM setting ->Roaming-Show roaming reminder-> Never.

Q: How to change GPS settings to achieve better and more accurate results?
Ans: Please follow the listed steps. Main Menu -> Settings ->Location services->Tab at GPS satellites and check GPS EPO assistance & A-GPS.

Q: How to do Reboot or Reset to Factory Settings?
Ans: Power the phone off->Hold Volume up + Home + Power-> Select the option based on your requirement

Q: How to install applications that are not downloaded from Google Play Store?
Ans: To install applications directly, do following. Setting -> Security ->Device administrators->Check “Allow installation of apps from unknown sources”

Q: How to Backup Contacts & SMS?
Ans: (a) For Contact Backup
(i) User can take backup on Gmail
(ii) Main Menu->Contact-> Option->Export/Import Contact-> Select Source & Destination point to take backup.
(b) For SMS Backup
(i) User can take backup on Gmail
(ii) Main Menu->Contact-> Option->Export/Import message-> Select Source & Destination point to take backup.
On a device running Android Jelly Bean User can take backup of Contacts, SMS, Call logs, Email, Calendar with following steps. Main Menu->Setting->System->System Backup
