How to bypass iCloud using checkra1n

Requirements :







* A5-A11 iPhone or iPad. (iPhone XS/XR and above aren’t supported by checkm8 exploit)



* iOS 12.3 - iOS 13.2.2 .



* A computer running macOS .



* Latest version of iTunes installed if using a Mac running anything prior to macOS Catalina .



* Checkra1n jailbreak app .



* iproxy libmuxd package ( can be installed using this script " brew install libimobiledevice " ) .



* UDID of the iDevice ( if you don't know it , launch finder , Apple menu ( top left button ) , About this mac , System Report ( on olders mac More Info then System Report , USB entry in the Hardware section , iPhone or iPad depending on your iDevice , even though it's labeled "Serial Number," this is the device's UDID . )







Limitations :







* No carrier .



* Not possible add new iCloud id .



* No Sim Card connection .



* Not possible Making phone calls .



* Receive SMS No .



* No Use 4G/3G internet .



* No Facetime .



* No iMessage .



* No iTunes .



* No Sync apple watch .



* Not possible install new profiles .



* Not activated .



* No apple services .







How To :







* Launch checkra1n and follow steps to jailbreak your iDevice .



* Wait for iDevice to completely boot to activation menu .



* Open two terminal tabs .



* Tab 1 : iproxy 2222 44 [device udid]



* Tab 2 : ssh root@localhost -p 2222

mount -o rw,union,update /



rm -rf /Applications/Setup.app



uicache -a



killall backboardd



* Done .



Install any apps after CheckraIn iCloud bypassed.

Instructions

1. Open Cydia and install File-cmds

2. Install Filza from Cydia

3. Download com.apple.purplebuddy.plist

3. Replace the downloaded file with the old one /var/mobile/library/preferences/com.apple.purplebuddy.plist

4. Connect your idevice with laptop and open terminal ssh and connect to ur device



5. Type this command: chflags uchg /var/mobile/Library/Preferences/com.apple.purplebuddy.plist



6. Turn off ur device and turn it on again.

All done





PS : If you have more iDevices to bypass , after each bypass , go to /Users/"username"/.ssh and delete knowns_hosts .

All commands :

first, this is working only on mac, you will need checkra1n app you can download here, and also you will need iproxy libmuxd package. You can install using this script:

brew install libimobiledevice

You must have installed iOS 12.3 or up
Download and Run checkra1n on your device
open two terminal tabs
One: iproxy 2222 44 [device udid]
Two: ssh root@localhost -p 2222
mount -o rw,union,update /
rm -rf /Applications/Setup.app
uicache -a
killall backboardd
Done

IF NOT WORKING TRY NEXT STEPS:

Turn off the device.
Put it to DFU again.
Open checkra1n app and click start and wait for the device to boot.
When booting wait for blackscreen.
SSH again to iPhone.
uicache -a (to reset device cache)
killall backboardd (to reset lockdownd)
killall -9 SpringBoard (to safely respring device)
Done! You should be on homescreen

How To Fix Cellular Data Problem Checkra1n iCloud Bypass

After successfully bypassing iCloud lock you probably see this issue of cellular data, so in this section, I am sharing a way to fix cellular data problem after bypassing iCloud lock. Here you need to have the exact same device (that is already activated and not bypassed) as of the one you iCloud unlocked, same model number + same carrier + same cellular data as well. We need to copy a few files from the activated device to an unlocked device, follow the process below.

Caution: Phone calls are not supported yet, will share a process to fix that as well, currently you’ll get you cellular data back. Not sure if it will work on every bypassed device, but it’s worth trying. I Tried on my device (iPhone 6s) and worked perfectly fine.
Before you start, be concentrated in process, a little complex task but I have explained everything you need to do.

Step 1:
After you unlock, you have the checkra1n jailbreak utility in your device, open it and install Cydia from there, also install in other activated device as well.

Step 2:
Open Cydia and install the Filza Tweak into both of your devices, it’s an easy file manager that you can install in jailbroken devices.

Step 3:
Open Filza in your activated phone, be sure your wifi is turned off and cellular data is turned on here.

Note: You need to transfer 3 files actually, you’ll transfer these files to your email first then download these files in your bypassed phone. Two of the files are with the same name, data_ark.plist, be sure you copy correct one at the correct location in iCloud unlocked phone.
Locations To The Find Files On Filza
/var/root/library/lockdown/data_ark.plist
/var/containers/data/system/com.apple.mobileactivationd/library/internal/data_ark.plist
/var/containers/data/system/com.apple.mobileactivationd/library/activation_records/activation_record.plist

Step 4:
Go to the above-mentioned locations one by one, select and send them via email on your email address so you can download on the bypassed device after logging in there. After downloading all three files, open them one by one using Filza(open with Filza). Remember that two files are with the same name, both files will be as (filename.plist and filename(1).plist) on the device when you download these on the bypassed device.

From Filza, move these files to the locations mentioned above, if you don’t find the folder to copy file (activation record) in it, create a new folder with the same name mentioned in the path (activation_records). Copy the correct file to the correct location and also remember that you need to rename the file with a numbered name after you copy at the correct location.

Step 5:
When you have copied all the files in your iCloud unlocked device, restart the device. After reboot, you’ll see your device will search for service and will catch the service, try turning on your cellular data and you’re done.

i was able to change the pin on a SIM card with pin, and i got a message to update my carrier settings.
after i reboot and i got the activation screen. (avoid reboot the device)

i thinks this append when i moved the SIMPasscodeTelephonySettings or SIMsettings or SIMToolkitSettings.bundle in /system/library/PreferenceBundles

no. i got what i say.

let m explain what i have here

ios 12.3 iphone 6 64gb jailbreak, activated

ios 12.3.4 iphone 6 16gb icloud bypass

when i moved all the files, i dint even change the valor's of the plist,
so, i got on the iphone with icloud plist with ios 12.3 on a 12.3.4.

to check the credit is *#123#on my operator, still working, whitout cydia or checkra1n.

i delete the cydia with those 2 lines
