hi,

someone told me there is an iphone engineering mode,

dialing some code to see if earpiece is disabled
etc

i can't find it on search

i can't find in on searching the net..

he won't tell me so i am humbly asking anyone here if they could help.

Test ear peace with voice notes, if not recording could be an ic problem and mic, if recording but no sound or muffled probably ear peace or cable, connector problem.
