When your iOS device is in recovery mode, or it's in password or disabled in normal mode, you can use 3uTools "Easy Flash" to flash it with backuping your phone data.

The key point is that you must check the box of “Don’t erase user’s data” so that your device can still keep phone data after flash. For example:

But please note that the phone data will be kept only if the flashing process is completed successfully.

The signing of iOS9.1 has been stopped by the Apple. So it's impossible to flash any ios device to 9.1. Currently iOS 9.2 and 9.2.1 can be available for iPhone 4s.

Error 53 means there is something wrong with the fingerprint lock. It's a hardware problem, and you're suggested to ask the AppleCare to repair it.

If you have downloaded the available iOS firmware, just click the green button "Flash" and keep waiting till the flashing process.
