But it will occupy a lot of resources of your Mac while encrypting and the running speed may be affected. You can turn off it in System Performance -> Security & Privacy -> File Vault.

# Stop Spotlight
Spotlight can help rearrange the whole file system of your Mac. Open the terminal, copy and paste the command
sudo launchctl unload -w
  /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.metadata.mds.plist
And then enter the password to stop Spotlight.
If you want to reopen Spotlight, just enter
sudo launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.metadata.mds.plist to the terminal.

# Stop Picture index

# Release Storage Space

Hi.
Can I ask why the system in the flash storage is increasing which the limit is not above 40 gb cuz yesterday i've seen it by 50gb and today it shocked me to 95gb strange isn't it?
