Member: 1788877 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 481 | Mac pro admin account I have mac pro 2013 with latest OS on I can access the mac but there an admin account in it that owner forgot the password It’s working ok but when i want to go to settings it asks for password How to remove this admin account please ? Is it icloud ? Thx |

Member: 2515120 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | Every Mac has a built-in Recovery mode that will let you change the system password if it's been forgotten. ----- or ----- Boot into Single User Mode by pressing ⌘ + S before you hear the Apple chime. Mount the drive by typing /sbin/mount –uw / then enter. Remove the Apple Setup Done file by typing rm -v /var/db/.AppleSetupDone then enter. Reboot by typing reboot then enter. Complete the setup process, creating a new admin account. |
