Hi I have the above phone which is currently 'phone locked' with a passcode. Customer wants me to factory reset phone (data can be wiped).

But I can't seem to find how to factory reset (hard reset) - please remember I can't get to the dialer. If I power on with back button and volume up held down i can get to a screen that says 'DOWNLOAD MODE' but nothing happens from there.

Any suggestions?

Happy to reflash firmware if I have to but would need some basic guidance (software to use etc). I do have Smart Sam Box but it doesn't support this model

Vol- CAM and PWR then Download Mode will display

i also want to wipe and factory set the same phone samsung wave 2 bada gt-s8530 but can only enter into download mode. pliz any solution in how to wipe and factory reset or hard reset this phone it has phone password which i dont now
