3G 128k

Has anyone find out what changes in the systen when "iPhone 4s ios 6" option picked? I get 3G but signal bars are empty, if anyone could find out why can get 3G with 4s config... That could be a solution.

Does anyone know what part of the system does R-Sim change? It create any files or folder when you select an option in the r-sim menu?

I have the same issue but cant find solution... Empty bars but 3g working with 128k sim. Anyone with jailbreak please try any patch and test this out

3G is working, just no calling or texting? I thought R-SIM 9/Mini was not compatible with 3G unless you used a 2G 64K SIM.

with iphone 5, if you pick in the popup menu "i4 iOS6", restart and force 3G, you get fully 3G speed but signal bars are empty, so no calls/sms. What i wanna know is what changes in the system to get 3G in this option.

I will try some patches and lets see.

Ok that makes sense gary but the question is why would you go with ios 6 on your iphone since you can get the 3G with ios 7 so in my opinion go ahead and update your ios to the ios 7.0,6 since it works good for the 3G mode2 ios6 3G with your r-sim air.

He means on the iPhone 5 with R-SIM 9 Pro or Mini. I will test it out to see what's going on. That's very interesting.

Sim I am a little bit confused since in his post he is saying something about i4 in the mini there is no i4 option it exists in rsim air so because of this I thought he was referring to rsim air .....who knows I could be mistaken.....lol.
Anyway please Sim try it out and keep us posted so we can learn from your experience.

like simtester said, i have rsim 9 pro, in an iphone 5 with ios 7. This only works if i go to settings>phone>sim app>select carrier and select my locked carrier. Then, it ask for my device, so i select "iPhone 4 iOS 6". Then only reboot and force 3G with ir0se. That's the way im getting 3G with 128 k sim.

I'm trying out some patches, but I dont know which patches to install... I selected in popup menu i4 iOS 6, so should I download iphone 4 patches? and iOS 6 patches?

A + L patch = no success. Says no service and in phone tab My Number shows "unknown". I will try other combinations.

ON IPHONE 5 IOS 7:

My steps:

-Install A + L patch from isamteam repo. Reboot.
-Uninstall L. Reboot.
-Uninstall A. Reboot.
-At this point, in my iphone keeps searching, with no signal. Reboot.
-Activation screen should appear. If not, reboot a few times. Extract the sim tray and insert again. Quickly go to settings>phone>select carrier and repeat the first step. Reboot.


I repeat: this is what worked for me. I rebooted so many times and did so many things that I cant provide an step by step guide. Can't assure if it will work for you or not.

Clean ESN and restored to factory settings as initial point?.

Could you paste any screenshot of your phone?. We are talking about iPhone 5, 7.0.4, Sprint, unknown number , no?.
If so, I'll try this:
- restore to factory settings.
- RSIM 9 + 128k uncut nanoSIM.
- Carrier settings for iPhone 4 iOS 6/ Sprint. Reboot.
- jailbreak. Patch A + L. Reboot.
- uninstall patch A. Reboot.
- uninstall patch L. Reboot.
- install iRose. Force 2G. Reboot.
- force 3G. Reboot.
- if I can get signal. With iFile I'll substitute Sprint carrier bundle for CarrierLab carrier bundle.
Any suggestions?

I didnt have to replace any bundle files, try that only if nothing works.


THIS IS NOT AN EXACT METHOD, it worked for me, rebooting a lot times and installing a lot of things. That are the steps i followed.


The unknown number showed to me in the phone tab in the middle of the proccess. I was in a point that my iphone kept searching and searching. I went to check the phone tab and the "Unknown number" label was there.

im having some issues with calls, sometimes dont work incoming calls, and sounds voicemail.
