After installing SMS patch it forces 2G - GSM-Forum

On iphone 5 locked to sprint using Rsim 9 pro - Have full talk, 3G, incoming SMS.

Jailbroken - Installed patch - A: CDMA patch for ios7 - from source "isamteam" to make outgoing sms working.

SMS worked but it forces 2G on the phone and i can't figure out any way to get 3G back - i have to remove the patch and reboot to get 3G.

Anybody knows a workaround to get 3G after the patch?

Patch A is the correct patch but you need to install the iroostool as well and force the 3g if your sim card supports the 3g, if still no go then restore and start from scratch.

Thanks "edurevenge" - your solution was very tempting but i could not find the "defaultphoneformat" file for ios 7 needed for the solution.

Thanks a lot "futur" your solution worked.
After installing "patch A" I installed irosetool and forced 3G and Voila 3g Works like a charm.
