Writes activated, but no network and configure network. 3. Reset the phone, not the network. Run the patch irose 2g. reset iphone 5 minutes later says no activation and is presented net. Calls are, no Internet. Help! |

Insert MTS_RUS. Wait for activation menu. Insert R-SIM + MTS. Wait for activation message/signal or No Service. Reboot. Wait for signal. Now apply iRose patch 2g or 3g depending on SIM support. Reboot if 2g shows No Service or no signal. Settings, Phone, My Number must show US phone number for data to work. SMS out still not working. Weird phenomenon on US iPhone 4S & 5 using this method. After iPhone is deactivated from Sprint network, it can still send picture messages from Sprint number/network. It cannot send pictures from SIM card number unless you use a 64K SIM, GPP unlock chip, & iPhone 4S to change MMS settings from Sprint to SIM card carrier. I don't know if anyone has followed this, but as of iOS 7.1, you can no longer change default carrier bundle settings using SIM swap trick or .plist editing. This applies to all iPhones AT&T/Verizon/Sprint 4S/5/5S/5C. Not only did Apple close jailbreak, but they closed the ability to change MMS settings unless the default bundle is changed to Carrier 16.0 or vf nl 16.0 | |
