Question Do you update iOS?

Do you guys keep your iOS up to date with the new ICCID or you’re not the ones who like to take a risk?

You can do "UPDATE" or "RESTORE" via iTunes as long as the ICCID it's working. When the ICCID get blocked again then only "UPDATE" option.

You can ALWAYS do a safe update through wifi because there will be no re-activation screen. Never with iTunes.

I've been using srim 11+ until ios 11.2.5 because I have always updated with wifi update instead itunes. Now that I've done a DFU restore trouth iTunes I had to use a rsim 12 with the last iccid to make it activate again.
