I have an iphone 5s locked to the japanese AU KDDI operator under ios 7.1.1
I bought from ebay a r-sim mini 2 to unlock it but it seems i got a broke r-sim because no popup and no sim applications section in settings > phone

but i discovered something very intersting that could help some of you.

I remove the r-sim and got my iphone partially unlocked thanks to irosetool by forcing 2G

call in and out working
sms in and out working
edge ok
all this without the r-sim

is it normal? and who can help to further unlock and get 3G/4G working

1.Will this patch work 7.1.2 for any iphone above 4 models
2. I have installed the patch my number is unknown (Settings>Phone>My No : Unknown) but when i install chat app(most of the apps), the apps tells that sim detected as Netherland but i live in INDIA will this problem can be solved?
3.Solution for My no: Unkown (Settings>Phone>My No : Unknown)

R-SIM mini2 has a BIG BIG BIG issue when 3G enabled.

When 3G enabled, incoming calls FAIL AND when travelling abroad the signal get lost and then the SIM INVALID message shows.

Firmware is not stable yet with 3G enabled. AND sometimes is not stable with 2G. Incoming calls with 2G (Edge) works good but when traveling it crashes and loose signal.

When will you update the firmware to fix these issues ?

Tried many times but was NOT able to get 3G working on my iPhone 5S 128k SIM locked to SB japan.

Hope RSIM team will give us a working fix.

Hello all, for the LTE patch to work is it necessary to have the device jailbroken?

I have 7.1.2, no jailbreak yet, and although I activated the LTE patch, 3G still doesn't show up, only Egde...

hi, I've bought a R-SIM Air to unlock my Iphone 4s 7.1.2 SPRINT for european carrier but I Always receive Invalid sim. I'd like to use the patch but I do not know where I can retrieve the activation code. thanks
