The LTE patch is to get 2G service. LTE patch enabled=2G + service. LTE patch disabled or not installed=No Service. It's the same as iRose 2G(patch enabled) vs. 3G(patch disabled).

Hello guys, last night read about this solution. bought a RSIM 9 pro but at the moment didn't work with my ATT iPhone 5s...downloaded the patch last and had to work around getting the code because INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT CLEAR....Eventho paid for the code at rpatch[dot]com and haven't got it yet, neither a response from the people on Skype they point as a contact.

Now a couple of questions:
1. do I still need the rsim inside the phone after the patch or does it work without it?
2. will it bypass the sim activation screen on the iphone?
3. lastly given the situation rpatch doesn't reply, should I pull my payment back or should I wait?

thanks for your help

Hi,

No, when you remove rsim from you iphone, it cause that activation screen will come back and will be impossible to remove it in any other way (unless you put again rsim inside).
If you got a rpatch activation code and it does not work, just try later, it lasts sometimes few days when it start works. If you don't recieve before ordered rpatch code, try to contact with the seller, it should reply in 3 days from order as in my case.

Hi, I have tried to install the rpatch tool as well as ir0se, but neither will install. When I try to download and install them I get the error: "Unable to Download App "RpatchTool" could not be installed at this time."

I have tried on multiple phones and get the same error on all of them. One of the phones had the ir0se tool on it previously, but it too cannot install now. I have not updated the OS. It is ios 7.1.2.

Has anyone had this issue and been able to get around it? I'm afraid that apple might have found a way to block the patch install.

I was able to figure it out myself. It's really strange, but if you set your clock back to June 2, 2014 8:30 PM you can install the software.
